Bring Creativity to Life

Creativity can be a big word, and students may find a speech by distinctive guest something impracticable. In this light, LiPACE BHCE Division has invited three renowned creatives from three different industries-- Prof. Karen Chan, JP (creative culture and fashion), Mr. Alex Chan Siu Bo (music) and Ms. Virginia Lung (interior design) –to join a conversation how to bring ideas to daily life.

The curve-accenting Hong Kong cheongsam is an icon of our local cultural history. It has undergone a full cycle of growth, prosperity, decline, and revival over the past century.

This month, the Technique of Making Hong Kong Cheongsam has been been inscribed onto the fifth batch of the national list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Along with Tin Hau Festival in Hong Kong (香港天后誕), another newly added item, there is a total of 12 local ICH items on the list now.

剪裁美麗的香港中式長衫是本地絢爛服飾文化的其中之一。百年過去，它由盛轉衰，直至近年再興起，香港中式長衫經歷了同樣絢爛的歷史。

最近，香港中式長衫製作技藝成功列入國務院公布的第五批《國家級非物質文化遺產代表性項目名錄》。

連同香港天后誕，本地已經有12個項目被列入代表性項目名錄。
