Hong Kong Floor Hockey Finals 2026 — ICHK HLY Champions!
ICHK Primary Floor Hockey teams competed in the Hong Kong Finals hosted by American International School and Kingston International School.

After strong wins in round-robin play, our team showed great resilience and teamwork, earning a 3–3 draw against KIS and ultimately securing the Hong Kong B-Team Championship (2026).

The A-Team began with a 3–0 win over AIS, then responded brilliantly after a challenging match against KIS. Despite facing strong opposition, the team kept competing—ending in a competitive performance including a standout goal and a final score of 6–2 - the closest game we have ever had with Kingston's A-team.

Congratulations to all players for their progress, determination, and team spirit—well done!

Ben Clanton visited ICHK Hong Lok Yuen
Year 2 & 3 experienced an interactive workshop where he shared how to bring characters—especially Narwhal & Jelly—to life!

Year 2 welcomed Rachel Ip
Through her inspiring story and ideas on empathy and thoughtful design, we explored how humans and wildlife can thrive together.

The author's visit provided a fantastic opportunity for the students to see that every great book starts with a spark of imagination and a lot of heart to keep trying.

The days celebrating International Book Day were packed with activities that brought the ICHK community together!

Creative, home-made costumes were appearing on every corner of our indoor and outdoor spaces as students (and staff!) dressed up as their favourite book characters.

ICHK Primary Students and teachers had a picnic lunch in the field. While classroom doors were transformed into creative masterpieces for our decoration competition, all centred around themes of happiness in ICHK Kindergarten and Primary.

Last week, ICHK Reception students had a short journey to Lam Tsuen and visited the NZ Organic Farm to make our own pizzas!

We learned how to care for living things and how to grow produce from farm to table!

All students independently followed Farmer Jacob's instructions and recipe, and cooking steps. All students, parents, and staff had a great day being out in nature and cooking their own pizza lunch!
