「實踐」唔單止係將理論付諸行動，更係一種喺學術同社區之間不斷越界、反思同連結嘅過程🪢。當社會環境改變，我哋可以點樣令「實踐」變得更加可持續？
研討會嘅最後一場討論，我哋邀請咗四位喺媒體、環保同藝術領域有豐富經驗嘅講者。佢哋將會回顧過去 25 年香港文化研究社群嘅實踐歷程，探討我哋點樣喺變幻莫測嘅社會環境之中，搵到持續行動嘅韌性⚡：

“Praxis: art of creative resilience through breaching boundaries”

Praxis isn’t just about putting theory into action—it’s a process of constantly crossing boundaries, reflecting, and building connections between academia and the community. 🤝🏻
For our final panel, we have gathered a group of "pracademics"—scholars who are also active practitioners in media, environment, and the arts. They will reflect on 25 years of Cultural Studies in Hong Kong, discussing how our work has evolved alongside the city's shifting landscape 🌍:

What does it mean to build a “commons” in a city where space is contested and social bonds are being tested? 🏙️ In Hong Kong today, “commoning” is more than just a theory; it is a living practice of reclaiming agency, building solidarity, and protecting shared spaces through everyday action. 🛡️💡

2025 marks the 25th anniversary of the Department of Cultural Studies and the BA in Cultural Studies (Honours) program at Lingnan University, along with the 20th anniversary of the Master of Cultural Studies program🥳! Join us throughout April and May 2026 for a lineup of awesome events to celebrate these important milestones for Cultural Studies✨!

Through this 25th-anniversary celebration, we are not only reflecting on the past but also looking towards the future🌿. Our theme, "Surviving Cultural Studies," represents a proactive stance: grounding ourselves in the present, with gratitude for support, embracing change, and more importantly, transforming hope into concrete actions – whether in teaching, collaboration, or establishing connections with society🪢.

Experts from local and international spheres, along with partners and alumni, will convene to reflect on the development of Cultural Studies in Hong Kong and brainstorm new paths for navigating today's intricate social, cultural and political landscapes💡🧩.
