https://www.culturesofcare.net/ This project is built upon EduHK’s longstanding conviction and ethos on the growing importance of care and caring.

Centering on the framework of “care humanities,” this project will substantially extend the strengths of the Faculty of Humanities to initiate a program of research and intellectual innovation, training workshops, youth leadership, new academic courses and programmes, etc. Locally, it aims to mainly target EduHK students and in-service teachers. Internationally, it endeavours to build a consortium of researchers for high-level exchange and collaboration.

Department of Literature and Cultural Studies, EdUHK於2024年7月7日至13日期間舉辦了「寫作+」創作現場日營。

✨Recap on the ‘Writing+ Live & In-Person Day Camp’ (1/3)

“The distance between oneself and creation mirrors the distance between oneself and the self, as well as the self and the world. Upon this foundation, all are experiences.”

IRCCS and Department of Literature and Cultural Studies, EdUHK hosted the “Writing+ Live & In-Person Day Camp” during July 7-13, 2024, inspired by the course GEL2013 Becoming a Writer: Writing About the Self and the World, under the "Pedagogy of Care" from the 'Comparative Cultures of Care, FHM, Eduhk' Project, and serves as one of the initiatives of "Care Across FHM”.

24 EdUHK students joined us for a week of experiential activities led by guest experts from diverse fields. Participants learned to nurture care for the “self” and the world, channeling such care into the self-expression and creation of art.
