Hello sisters!

Our current Delta President reached out to our alumnae chapter because they’re having trouble fundraising for regional conference this year since the turnaround time has been fairly short notice.

To give some background, nationals changed the way chapters are billed/register for conference. They are now billed as a whole chapter for the 2/3 requirement that is required. Delta having 28 actives is required to send 19 sisters and if they send less than that, they still have to pay a fine of $145 per sister not in attendance (which is the non-hotel rate for conference). They have to pay this bill through GreekTrack and have to pay it about a month before conference, which is February 23-25th. Meaning payment is due February 4th.

The cost per undergraduate attendee is $295, and while they have received some funding from FSP (Fraternity and Sorority Programs), they are still in need of more help. For the last 4 years, FSP has covered their registration cost, however, this year they limited their funding and with it being such a short turn around this year, they need our help more than ever.

The Southern AZ Alumnae Chapter would like to lead the efforts in finding sponsors for our undergraduate penguins so that they can make it to Phoenix for Regional Conference! If we can sponsor a sister at $100, that would cover approximately half of their registration. Any and all donations are much appreciated and can be sent on Venmo to @ soazkdchi 💞

Don’t forget, we will also be collecting gently used clothing’s items to donate to Campus Closet and food to donate to Campus Pantry. All these items will go directly to both places and will benefit current UA students. Please read below for ideas on what to donate!
