A spectacular Spring Raffle has been organised by our wonderful Parents’ Association, with so many incredible prizes up for grabs! 🌸🎟️
All funds raised will go towards purchasing new IT equipment for out school, helping to enhance our technology resources and create even better learning opportunities for our pupils. A huge thank you to the many local businesses who have generously sponsored prizes. Your support means so much to our school community.
The raffle will take place on Friday, April 17th at 8pm in the Mountain House.

All classes have been enjoying Irish dancing classes with Dance with Katie every Wednesday. It’s been wonderful to see the progress, growing confidence and lots of smiling faces as everyone learns some steps! Míle buíochas to Katie for sharing her talent with us and as always a huge thank you to St James’ GAA for the use of their hall! ☘️

Congratulations to our junior quiz team on their impressive 4th place finish at today’s Credit Union chapter final. Beyond their fantastic result, our team had a brilliant afternoon of fun and teamwork. We are incredibly proud of how they represented us on the big stage! Maith sibh go léir a pháistí!✨

The very best of luck to our junior quiz team this afternoon! They are representing Clonakilty & Dunmanway Credit Union at the chapter level of the schools quiz in the Silver Springs Hotel. A huge thank you to everyone at the Credit Union for their support, the team were delighted heading home with their treat bags last Thursday. Go n-éirí an t-ádh libh a pháistí!✨

We’d a wonderful World Book Day in school today! 📚 It was fantastic to see such creativity in the costumes and a shared love for so many favourite characters and stories. A lovely day celebrating the magic of books. ✨

Yesterday our Green Schools committee welcomed, Green Schools Global Citizenship representative, Siobhán Hughes to show her all of the wonderful work they have been doing on our Global Citizenship Energy theme. She was delighted to see all of the initiatives they have taken on over the past two years and was happy to recommend us for our sixth green flag. Múinteoir Jenny and the committee will be completing our application in the coming weeks. Well done to our committee who really impressed our visitor with their knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for the environment.

Well done to our Buds and Masters teams for their brilliant performance at the Féile Fichille Chess Tournament in Barryroe N.S. last Thursday. Our four teams impressed throughout the day showing fantastic focus and top-tier sportsmanship from start to finish! A huge thank you to Barryroe N.S. for being such wonderful hosts and for making it such an enjoyable day for everyone. ♟️✨

After a morning of road safety theory last Monday, our 5th and 6th Class pupils were thrilled to finally get out on their bikes today for the Cycle Sense programme. The sun was finally shining for us and it was so heartening to see the boys and girls putting their skills into practice with such focus and confidence. A wonderful morning of learning and active fun! ☀️

🥞✨ What a fantastic Pancake Tuesday we had! Our pupils enjoyed a morning filled with smiles and plenty of delicious pancakes. The excitement was contagious, and there were lots of happy faces and very full tummies by the end of it all.
A special thank you to Pauline, Tríona, Thérèse, Karen, Jonathan, Julianne and Ciara who gave their time and energy to make the day such a sweet success! 💛
