Krafti Kidz

Another of our "golden oldies" graduated from primary school today and I was blessed to have been there. Onwards and upwards Sir Y - you are a force of nature!

And the warm fuzzies begin.....

Today we said goodbye to one of our "golden oldies" who is starting secondary school next year. We will miss you so much Miss A.

And just like that another school year is over. As usual the kids were fantastic and we celebrated with ice cream sundaes.

Krafti Kidz is very proud to be doing a 6 weeks inhouse arts and crafts programme with Corlann Ireland Ballincollig.
What an amazing bunch of people and a lovely way to spend a Tuesday morning!

Throwback Thursday.

Sneak peak!

We learn to use tools that require us to be extra careful - so we have to follow the rules to make sure we use them properly. No problem for the older crafters in our class!

Sneak peak! Lots of fine motor skills practice. We punched holes using a template and then sewed it to form the sky for our project. The challenge today was to try and sew without knotting the wool onto the needle, and, to hold the needle and wool when pulling it through the hole without the wool becoming unthreaded. Tricky skill to learn!

Today is our 15th birthday.
