Stillness... A beautiful water lily on Lough Derg. Going to print & frame this one for my studio, there's something so calming about it. Maybe it reminds me of the peaceful time on the water when the sun was starting to set and the only only sound was the birds evening chorus

Reminiscing on a gorgeous experience .
Packed so much into the day- a little work from the room, an excellent meal in Knights Bar in great company followed by a beautiful performance of Handels Messiah by the Seafield Singers & Laetare Vocal ensemble.

We finished the evening with one of their signature cocktails; 'The Dolly', named after the lady of the castle, Dorothy Vernon, who was a close friend of Handel himself and the woman who inspired the name for the neighboring area, Dollymount! 
There is so much legendary history here.

A real pinch-me moment: Styling this shoot with my couture gown that worked so flawlessly with the historic Chinese Bo***ir it's as if it was made for it. Otherwise known as Queen Victoria's room, the interiors are as they were since her stay at Carton House in 1847 so this was a genuinely rare and unique opportunity to get to shoot inside this protected space.
Working with this incredible international team was such a pleasure, the stuff that dreams are made of!
