Grow Food with Us - Learning as we Grow in Ireland

A Dublin mam & her 11 yr old daughter learning to grow some of their own food & experimenting making simple, natural products at home.

Learning together, hoping to spend less time on devices, less scrolling and more connection with each other and nature.

Chives from a supermarket, less than €2 per pot, just repotted into a larger pot full of good quality compost to give them space to continue growing.

Cut them to use in your meals & they keep growing, these can last a couple of years.

Look at the gorgeous chive flowers they produce. The flowers are edible too, not just pretty & our pollinators love them ❤️

Will you give it a go?

🌱 No Mow May – who’s in? 🐝

This month is all about doing less… and helping nature more 🌼

By leaving your lawn to grow, you’re creating a mini haven for:
🐝 Bees
🦋 Butterflies
🌿 Wildlife that depends on wildflowers

It might look a bit messy… but it’s doing something powerful 💚

Even a small patch left to grow can make a real difference 🌍

👇 Be honest… are you taking part?
✔️ Yes – already started
🤔 Thinking about it
❌ Not for me
