🏃‍♀️World Athletics Day is celebrated on May 7 every year.🏃‍♀️This day is celebrated globally every year to spread awareness among children and youth regarding the importance of fitness and to be healthy🏃‍♀️. Parents are the most important pillars in keeping their kids fit and healthy.With COVID-19 cases rapidly rising in India, people are stuck in their homes and The students of GKB International School celebrated the world Athletics Day in a different way. The Parents and Students participated in a lemon race to promote Athletics as the primary sport in schools. Moreover, they pledged to start exercising daily.

🤱There is one relationship in this mortal life which effortlessly scores above all other known relationships on this earth that is of the 💓MOTHER💓 which is truly priceless in terms of her countless🌟love, dedication and devotion towards her family. Mother is the name for God in the lips and hearts of little children. Our Little stars🌟 of kindergarten have shown love for their mothers by having a nice photoshoot with MoM's with cute pose of giving rose to their beloved mothers. To commemorate the 400th Prakash Purab celebrations of ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur ji on April 1,2021. GKB International School celebrated Gurpurab with students in a different way. GKB kids through videos sent their beautiful messages ,Gurbani tuk, Shloka of guru ji , Shabad , poetry from Guru Teg Bahadur ji's bani and their prayers for SARBAT DA BHALA.

🌾🌾 Baisakhi is the most significant harvest festival of North India particularly in Punjab and Haryana. GKB International School celebrated Baisakhi with great enthusiasm on 13th April 2021.🌾The celebration of this festival marked the beginning of festivities at our school. Kindergarten children were dressed in colourful Punjabi traditional attires and motive behind the celebrations was to apprise the children of their rich culture and heritage.

GKB International School celebrated Graduation Day on 20 March, 2021 and rewards were given to position holders, it was memorable day for not only the little ones but also a proud moment for the parents Graduation is an exciting milestone for children as it’s their first step towards a future full of hopes and possibilities. It marks a new beginning that adds new dimensions to their school life and the journey they begin towards knowledge and education

A key symbol of Lohri is the bonfire. Lighting of the fire has been common in winter festivals throughout time and to the world it signifies the return of longer days.🔥🔥🔥 Children of GKB International school participated enthusiastically in various activities Lighting up bonfire 🔥, Little toddlers dress-up in Traditional Punjabi dress and kite flying 🪁was also organised on this occasion, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students...🌟

“Diya are God’s way of telling us that there will always be light to drive away darkness. May the light of diyas spread joy to your life”.🌟🌟🌟GKB International School, celebrated Diwali. Various activities such as Rangoli making, Diya making and Card making contests were organised in all the classes. The message of this celebration was to say “Let’s fill our homes with prayers & lights ✨not with fumes and crackers💥💥”

Good manners are very important in our daily life. Importance of these in life is the well-known facts. Good manner creates an effective interaction with friends as well as make a good impression on a public platform. It helps us to be positive throughout the day. Therefore, parents must help their kids to inculcate all possible good manners in their habit....💁🙅🏼 The GKB little toddlers effectively conveyed the message through a few lines very confidently about good habits like following cleanliness routines, respecting elders, being kind and caring and keeping the surrounding clean. They urged everyone to shed away bad habits and form good ones...🤷🏻🙅🏼

Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions. Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honour them GKB International School – Kindergarten Section celebrated Grandparents Day on 13th September 2020.🌈❣️

Since its inception in the year 2020, June 21st is celebrated as The International Day of Yoga all over the world. This idea was proposed by our Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. He said, “Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. Students of GKB International school demonstrated various asanas followed by Omkar chanting. Warm up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing asanas.Regular practice of yoga surely help our students to achieve a better life, physically, mentally and spiritually as well.
