This World Hunger Day, we’re reflecting on one of Namjai Foundation’s earliest community initiatives in Bangalore.

Last February, volunteers from different colleges, workplaces, and backgrounds came together with Rise Against Hunger India for a meal packaging drive focused on supporting families facing food insecurity.

For seven days, teams worked side by side — measuring, sealing, and packing fortified meals that later reached communities in need.

What stayed with us wasn’t only the number of meals packed.

It was the reminder that meaningful community support often begins with ordinary people simply choosing to show up.

As a growing healthcare NGO in Bangalore, experiences like these continue to shape how we think about hunger, health, and community care.

Meal Packaging Event in Bangalore | 5,400 Nutritious Meals Packed | Namjai Foundation

On Day 3 of our community meal packaging drive in Bangalore, volunteers from Namjai Foundation, in collaboration with , came together to package 5,400 nutritious meals for families facing food insecurity.

📦 15,768 total meals prepared in 3 days

This hunger relief meal packaging event in Bangalore demonstrates how small groups of committed volunteers can create real community impact.

Students from CMR Institute of Technology, Bengaluru also joined the initiative, helping turn a few hours of volunteering into thousands of meals for communities in need.
