A chance encounter, a strange stranger, a ticking clock on a dark night, some unhealed old wounds, and unanswered questions.
What uncovers? Who triggers whom? Whose truth beholds? Who has it in them to be the change to see the change?
Come, witness, what happens in one night and changes three lives, which have been affected for nine years because of eleven days!

Dear all,
"I like a good story well told. That is the reason I am sometimes forced to tell them myself." - Mark Twain.
A good story makes us forget everything and causes us to live in the moment. That's why we have been binge-watching the video streams since the pandemic!! Why only restrict ourselves to the screen? Why not enjoy the live performance from fellow IIScians?
After a break of over three years, Rangmanch presents Lights Curtain Reprise. A showcase of four short plays.
Let's all take a break and enjoy the pleasant weather with a ride across genres this Saturday. Join us for a promising theatrical experience like no other.

Dear members of the IISc community,
I am writing to share with you some exciting news.
Our founder, Jamsetji N Tata, envisioned that the Institute must engage in the pursuit of “all branches of knowledge”. For more than a century, IISc has pioneered research and education in science and engineering. As a third dimension, we now plan to establish a Postgraduate Medical School along with a Multi-speciality Hospital on campus. The academic centrepiece of this initiative will be an integrated dual degree MD-PhD programme aimed at nurturing a new breed of physician-scientists, who will be trained simultaneously in the hospital as well as in the science and engineering labs of the Institute.
Today, in a giant leap forward in achieving this goal, we entered into a historic partnership with philanthropists Susmita and Subroto Bagchi, and Radha and NS Parthasarathy, to establish the Bagchi-Parthasarathy Hospital. The couples will collectively donate INR 425 crore (equivalent to about USD 60 million) to help construct this 800-bed, not-for-profit, multi-speciality hospital. After its founding, this is the largest single private donation received by IISc.
The Bagchi-Parthasarathy Hospital will have advanced facilities for diagnostics, treatment, and research, and offer several specialities including oncology, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, dermatology and plastic surgery, organ transplant, robotic surgery, ophthalmology, and so on. In addition, according to National Medical Commission norms, students admitted in specific MD-PhD, MD/MS, and DM/MCh programmes will also be trained in appropriate sections of the hospital along with their classroom and lab training. The hospital will also implement advanced digital technologies and solutions, such as integrated Electronic Medical Record systems and a comprehensive telemedicine suite with haptics interfaces.
We are extremely grateful to Susmita and Subroto Bagchi, and Radha and NS Parthasarathy for their magnanimous gesture. The establishment of the hospital and medical school will be a turning point in the Institute’s history. As we embark on this exciting journey, we look forward to your continued support and well wishes.
Thank you.
