School of Education, Adamas University successfully organized Research Day 2026 on 25th April 2026, bringing together faculty members, doctoral scholars, and researchers in a vibrant celebration of academic inquiry, innovation, and scholarly excellence. Convened under the leadership of Dr. Susanta Pandey, Associate Professor & Associate Dean-SoE, the event was aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, emphasizing the promotion of research culture, multidisciplinary learning, critical thinking, and innovation in higher education. The programme was further enriched by the presence of Prof. Kuldeep Siwach, Associate Dean–SOMC, Adamas University, who delivered an insightful keynote address on advancing research culture, along with the valuable contribution of the resource person Dr. Abhijit Guha, Associate Professor in Education at Ramakrishna Mission Sikshanamandira, Belur Math, Howrah, a distinguished teacher educator and researcher whose inputs added depth to the academic deliberations. The event featured engaging presentations, meaningful discussions, and collaborative exchanges that reflected emerging trends and innovative practices in educational research, thereby reinforcing the School of Education’s commitment to nurturing a culture of inquiry and academic excellence while inspiring participants to contribute towards shaping the future of education.

The School of Education, Adamas University, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 17th March 2026 at the Adamas University Convention Centre, in association with AIIMS Kalyani and in collaboration with the NSS Unit of Adamas University under the visionary leadership of Dr. Susanta Pandey, Associate Dean, School of Education, Adamas University, coordinated by Dr. Brotati Chakraborty, Dr. Prasanta Gayen & Dr. Abhisek Panda, Assistant Professors, School of Education, Adamas University. With around 100 active participants, the camp was conducted under expert medical supervision, ensuring safe and hygienic procedures. The programme commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by esteemed dignitaries, followed by systematic donor registration, health screening, and blood donation. NSS volunteers played a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination throughout the event. This meaningful initiative not only contributed to healthcare services but also strengthened humanitarian values and community engagement within the university.

School of Education, Adamas University organized an educational field visit titled “Vidya Meets Yatra” to the historically rich town of Taki . This initiative was designed to extend classroom learning into real-world contexts, enabling students to connect theoretical knowledge with cultural, historical, and environmental realities. Taki, located along the banks of the Ichamati River near the India-Bangladesh border, is known for its heritage structures, serene landscapes, and socio-cultural significance. The visit provided an immersive learning experience, allowing students to observe historical architecture, understand local culture, and reflect on the importance of place-based education. As a part of experiential learning, this field trip aimed to nurture observational skills, cultural sensitivity, and reflective thinking among future educators.

Faculty members, Doctoral Scholars, Researchers, and Learners will join to share groundbreaking ideas and explore emerging trends in education through engaging meaningful discussions, collaborative learning, and inspiring presentations that shape the future of teaching and research. School of Education, Adamas University, successfully organized an enriching field trip to the Autism Society, West Bengal, on 10th April 2026. The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to special education practices, therapeutic interventions, and inclusive learning environments designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).Under the guidance of Dr. Susanta Pandey, Associate Professor and Associate Dean, school of Education, along with faculty members, students actively engaged in observation, interaction, and reflective learning throughout the visit.

Strengthening the partnership between institutions and families is essential for holistic development of students. In alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, School of Education, Adamas University aims to foster meaningful dialogue between educators and parents through the Open House and Parents Meet to be organized on 16th March 2026, from 03:30 p.m at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Building, Room No. 103. Parent–teacher interaction not only enhances transparency in the educational process but also helps in understanding students’ academic progress, emotional well-being, and overall growth. This initiative provides a platform for constructive discussions, shared responsibility, and collective commitment towards nurturing future-ready learners.

Led by the students of the School of Education, EduCarnival: A Mix of Cultural and Educational Vibrancy celebrates Children’s Day by honoring the joy, creativity, and curiosity of childhood. The event highlights the role of teacher trainees in fostering inclusive and compassionate learning spaces, reminding us that education is not just instruction but an inspiring journey that nurtures imagination, empathy, and the limitless potential of every child.

It is a collaborative international classroom series conducted under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Shauli Mukherjee, Professor & Dean-School of Education, Dean-International Relations that aims to highlight the need and significance of global collaboration in teaching learning process. The initiative seeks to foster intercultural communicative competence, advance academic collaboration and a sustainable culture of teaching learning, and cultivate global citizenship through teaching-oriented engagement among the students from Adamas University and TAR UMT, Malaysia.

With the aim “Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation,” School of Education, Adamas University, proudly organizes a Capacity Building Programme on 6th & 7th November 2025 from 03:30 p.m. at AIT Video Conference Hall (AU6) as part of the NCTE Vigilance Awareness Week. Under the convenorship of Dr. (Prof.) Shauli Mukherjee, Professor & Dean-School of Education, Dean-International Relations, the event aims to foster a culture of integrity, transparency and accountability among the academic community and aspiring teachers.
On 6th November 2025 eminent scholar Dr. Sajal Saha, Professor & Associate Dean-School of Engineering and Technology, Head- Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Adamas University will be delivering a session on Asset and Resource Management Transparency-Documentation, Digitization and Monitoring and distinguished Dr. Ajitava Ray Chaudhuri, Professor Emeritus, Dean-School of Liberal Arts and Culture Studies, Head-Department of Economics, Adamas University will be delivering session on Building an Integrity Culture in Institutions-Best Practices and Preventive Vigilance Transparency on 7th November 2025.

Raman’s Birth Anniversary on 7th November 2025 (Friday) at 11:30 AM onwards in Room No. 103, 1st Floor, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Building, AU-04. This event is being organized under the convenorship of Prof. (Dr.) Shauli Mukherjee, Professor & Dean-School of Education and Dean-International Relations. This initiative aims to inspire students to delve into the world of scientific innovation and creative thinking, honouring the remarkable contributions of Sir C.V. Raman. The event serves as a platform for students to explore and express scientific concepts through hands-on model making. The activity emphasizes not only creativity and technical understanding but also teamwork and problem-solving skills. Through this engaging event, students will gain an opportunity to connect theory with practice, transforming abstract ideas into tangible representations. It aims to nurture the spirit of curiosity, experimentation, and innovation, values that lie at the heart of scientific inquiry.

As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, School of Education, Adamas University successfully organized a Vigilance Awareness Campaign on 31st October 2025 at Adamas Knowledge City. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who actively engaged in spreading the message of ethical conduct and awareness.
The campaign served as a meaningful reminder that “Vigilance is our shared responsibility” and inspired all to contribute towards building a corruption-free and just society.
