School of Education, Adamas University successfully organized Research Day 2026 on 25th April 2026, bringing together faculty members, doctoral scholars, and researchers in a vibrant celebration of academic inquiry, innovation, and scholarly excellence. Convened under the leadership of Dr. Susanta Pandey, Associate Professor & Associate Dean-SoE, the event was aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, emphasizing the promotion of research culture, multidisciplinary learning, critical thinking, and innovation in higher education. The programme was further enriched by the presence of Prof. Kuldeep Siwach, Associate Dean–SOMC, Adamas University, who delivered an insightful keynote address on advancing research culture, along with the valuable contribution of the resource person Dr. Abhijit Guha, Associate Professor in Education at Ramakrishna Mission Sikshanamandira, Belur Math, Howrah, a distinguished teacher educator and researcher whose inputs added depth to the academic deliberations. The event featured engaging presentations, meaningful discussions, and collaborative exchanges that reflected emerging trends and innovative practices in educational research, thereby reinforcing the School of Education’s commitment to nurturing a culture of inquiry and academic excellence while inspiring participants to contribute towards shaping the future of education.

The School of Education, Adamas University, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 17th March 2026 at the Adamas University Convention Centre, in association with AIIMS Kalyani and in collaboration with the NSS Unit of Adamas University under the visionary leadership of Dr. Susanta Pandey, Associate Dean, School of Education, Adamas University, coordinated by Dr. Brotati Chakraborty, Dr. Prasanta Gayen & Dr. Abhisek Panda, Assistant Professors, School of Education, Adamas University. With around 100 active participants, the camp was conducted under expert medical supervision, ensuring safe and hygienic procedures. The programme commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by esteemed dignitaries, followed by systematic donor registration, health screening, and blood donation. NSS volunteers played a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination throughout the event. This meaningful initiative not only contributed to healthcare services but also strengthened humanitarian values and community engagement within the university.

School of Education, Adamas University organized an educational field visit titled “Vidya Meets Yatra” to the historically rich town of Taki . This initiative was designed to extend classroom learning into real-world contexts, enabling students to connect theoretical knowledge with cultural, historical, and environmental realities. Taki, located along the banks of the Ichamati River near the India-Bangladesh border, is known for its heritage structures, serene landscapes, and socio-cultural significance. The visit provided an immersive learning experience, allowing students to observe historical architecture, understand local culture, and reflect on the importance of place-based education. As a part of experiential learning, this field trip aimed to nurture observational skills, cultural sensitivity, and reflective thinking among future educators.

The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to special education practices, therapeutic interventions, and inclusive learning environments designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).Under the guidance of Dr. Susanta Pandey, Associate Professor and Associate Dean, school of Education, along with faculty members, students actively engaged in observation, interaction, and reflective learning throughout the visit.

In alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, School of Education, Adamas University aims to foster meaningful dialogue between educators and parents through the Open House and Parents Meet to be organized on 16th March 2026, from 03:30 p.m at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Building, Room No. 103. Parent–teacher interaction not only enhances transparency in the educational process but also helps in understanding students’ academic progress, emotional well-being, and overall growth.
