It gives us immense pleasure to acknowledge the meaningful initiative jointly facilitated by Shooting Stars Foundation and IBM CARE through the webinars that were conducted.
Students of Bengal Fine Arts College actively participated in the programme and greatly benefitted from the experience. The event provided an excellent platform for young minds from diverse academic backgrounds to engage in creative thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and socially relevant innovation. The interaction with mentors and industry professionals encouraged students to think beyond conventional classroom learning and helped them develop confidence in presenting and structuring their ideas.
The initiative successfully fostered creativity, teamwork, communication skills, and practical understanding of real-world challenges. Our students found the experience highly enriching and inspiring, particularly because it encouraged them to connect artistic and creative perspectives with broader social and community concerns.
We sincerely appreciate the efforts of Shooting Stars Foundation and IBM CARE in organizing such a thoughtful and impactful programme for students. We look forward to more such collaborative initiatives in the future.

13th April, 2026 marks an important milestone for Bengal Fine Arts College, as fourth-year students participate in campus placements for the very first time. This occasion is not only a moment of pride for the institution but also a significant step in the academic and professional journey of its students. Their participation reflects the college’s growing commitment to career readiness and professional development. It provides a valuable platform for students to showcase their skills, knowledge and creative potential to prospective employers.
Adding to this achievement, four students—Prosun Dhal, Dona Sarkar, Rajat Mondal and Rimpa Pare—have successfully secured job offers, making the day even more memorable and inspiring for the entire college community. This moment truly symbolizes progress, ambition, and the beginning of many promising careers ahead.
