As part of the NEP 2020 course "Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation" under Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, students of GDC Maldevta presented their Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) on 10 June 2026.
The presentations reflected their entrepreneurial thinking, business planning skills, and readiness to transform ideas into sustainable ventures.

Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII, and Dr. Amit Kumar Dwivedi, Professor & Director, Department of Government Projects, EDII, and Project Director, Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, visited the Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana (DUY) Office in Dehradun and interacted with the project team to review ongoing initiatives and progress.
During the visit, they guided officials on driving excellence in project implementation and creating greater entrepreneurial opportunities for youth across Uttarakhand.
The visit reinforced the commitment to delivering impactful outcomes through the Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana and strengthening entrepreneurship across Uttarakhand.

Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, an initiative of the Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of Uttarakhand and implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, conducted an Orientation Program at SGS Govt. Degree College, Chakrata on 26/05/2026.
The session introduced students to entrepreneurship, the startup ecosystem, and the opportunities available for pursuing entrepreneurship as a career. Students were also informed about the objectives, benefits, and support system offered under the scheme.
A total of 45 students attended the session, with 44 students participating in the GE Test. Certificates were awarded to all participants.

“The Divine Journey Begins…”
From an idea nurtured under Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, an initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttarakhand, implemented by EDII Ahmedabad, to becoming a trusted travel companion for pilgrims — Namaste Saarthi is a proud example of youth-led entrepreneurship from Uttarakhand.
Started by Kartik Pandey, a final semester student of Soban Singh Jeena University and a mentee under the Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, Namaste Saarthi is helping make the sacred Char Dham Yatra safer, smoother, and more accessible for devotees visiting the divine land of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.
As the Char Dham Yatra has begun and thousands of pilgrims embark on their spiritual journey, initiatives like these reflect the spirit of innovation, service, and self-reliance being nurtured through DUY.

Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana, an initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttarakhand and implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, conducted an Orientation Program at Government Degree College, Gadarpur.
The session introduced students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, startup opportunities, and the growing entrepreneurial ecosystem, while also highlighting the objectives, benefits, and support system offered under the scheme.
The programme was conducted successfully with enthusiastic participation from the students. A total of 77 students attended the orientation and actively engaged in the session.
