From 18th to 23rd May 2024, Ryan International School, Noida Extension organized _Beyond Breaking News_, an intensive 5-day program on TV news production and presentation. The workshop brought together students from Ryan International Schools across Noida, Greater Noida, Mayur Vihar, and Ghaziabad to develop foundational media skills. Participants gained hands-on training in media terminology, on-camera presence, teleprompter reading, scriptwriting, camera handling, and shot composition. They also created Public Service Announcements on social issues and transformed raw footage into complete news bulletins through recording, interviewing, and editing.
The immersive experience helped students overcome stage fear, build confidence, and express their opinions with clarity. The program concluded on 23rd May with a Grand Finale and Certificate Ceremony attended by leading media experts: Mr. Vibhas Sane, Associate Editor, Amar Ujala Web Services Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Avishek Raja, Content Editor, Fortuna PR; Mr. Anup Kumar, Senior Anchor & Deputy News Editor, Bharat Express; and Ms. Laxmi Devi Aere, Senior Assistant Editor, Press Trust of India. A highlight of the event was an interactive session where parents tried the teleprompter and were interviewed by their children, adding excitement for families.

Students also conceptualised and produced Public Service Announcements addressing significant social issues and gained practical exposure to the complete process of news bulletin production, including recording, interviewing, and editing raw footage.
