*Activities*
The new academic year at Bridge International School has seen a plethora of new co-curricular and activity-based programmes being offered to the students of Classes I-VIII. In addition to Dramatics, Music, Science Club, Cooking Club, which was functioning in the previous academic years, students can now choose Roller Skating, Chess and Basketball, with national level trainers being roped in to conduct these activity classes.
In addition, Robotics and Coding classes have now been added to the weekly curriculum of Classes IV-VIII. These activities have been designed to enhance creativity, skill development and the overall personality growth of the students.

"Summer Splash"
The tiny tots of Nursery to Class II at Bridge International School had a joyful time during the “Summer Splash of Joy” activity. Filled with laughter, water fun, and cheerful moments, the event created beautiful summer memories and brought endless smiles to our kiddies who also enjoyed the class party.

On 11th May 2026, the students and teachers at Bridge International School observed Rabindra Jayanti, celebrating the legacy of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. The event started with a soulful rendition of "Chitto Jetha Bhoyshunyo" by one of the senior teachers, a graceful dance performance by the students of Classes I and II, and a group song by the students of Class IV. Next, the school witnessed individual songs, recitations and instrumental performances, followed by a skit by the students of Class V based on Tagore's story "Mukut (The Crown)". The programme concluded with a couple of songs and a dance performance performed by the teachers, as everyone paid homage to Gurudev on this special occasion.

On Monday, 23rd March 2026, teachers at BIS attended an insightful session by graphologist and mental health counsellor Ms. Nitika Mohta on “Decoding the Minds of Children through their Handwriting.”
With over two decades of experience, she shared valuable insights into handwriting analysis, including zones, size, slant, and how specific letters reflect aspects of a child’s personality. She also guided teachers on identifying patterns that may indicate emotional distress and emphasized the importance of early correction to help children develop confident and expressive penmanship.
The session was highly informative and beneficial for all educators.

Activity Week –
Final Day: Inter House Camping & Treasure Hunt
The final day of Activity Week was celebrated with an exciting Inter House Camping Day for students of the Junior School. The classrooms transformed into creative campsites as children enthusiastically engaged in tent making, mock campfires and fun games. Activities like Pebble painting, treasure hunt, and nature art using leaves, twigs, and flowers added to the joy of learning. The day was filled with teamwork, creativity, and adventure, making it a memorable and fun-filled conclusion to the week.
The highlight was the treasure hunt, where students went House-wise to find hidden chocolates, stationery items, toys, and coloured blocks. Each child could collect three items, making the activity thrilling and enjoyable. The day ended on a happy and memorable note.

The third day of Activity Week brought excitement and team spirit as the Junior School students participated in Inter-house Basketball and Football matches. The playground was filled with energy as students showcased their sports skills, coordination, and teamwork. The matches encouraged healthy competition and sportsmanship, making it a thrilling and enjoyable day for all.

The second day of Activity Week was filled with creativity and enthusiasm as students of the Junior Section participated in various Art & Craft activities. Each class explored their artistic skills through engaging tasks like drawing, tear and paste, card making, best out of waste item, pen art and creative crafts. The students showed great imagination and enjoyed expressing themselves through colours and designs, making the day vibrant and memorable.

Activity Week at Bridge International School
Bridge International School organised an Activity Week for students from Nursery to Class V before the session break.
The first day began with a Talent Show. The children performed with great enthusiasm and confidence. They showcased a variety of talents such as reciting rhymes, singing songs, dancing, performing magic tricks, roller skating, playing the kalimba, guitar and violin, acting, stand-up comedy, cartwheel, blind chess playing, calisthenics, taekwondo and identifying the flags of different countries.
It was a wonderful and exciting beginning to the Activity Week.
