Honing communication skills at the foundational level in Lower and Upper Nursery is an integral step towards Socio Emotional Learning (SEL).
Speaking in the presence of an audience, the youngest Martinians made their parents and teachers proud as they exhibited their self-confidence and social skills. Such activities lay the foundation of the 'courage' needed for public speaking later in life and also help develop good listening skills, and teach the little ones to be patient as they wait for their turn.
The Art and Craft Exhibition was a colourful collection of handwork done by the children that showcased their creative, cognitive and motor skills. Seeing the display of their own and their friendsβ work fills the children with a sense of pride and accomplishment while at the same time teaching them to appreciate each otherβs work.
