🤔Is planting more and more trees enough?
Without completing the carbon cycle?
No 🚫
Unless we return the carbon from where it came, what's the use?
And to return the carbon, what do we do?
🔁Send the carbon where it comes from, the soil.
Soil is where the carbon cycle starts from. 🍂Leaving the dead matter of the tree like barks, 🪵sticks palm leaves on the open soil to rot in the rain results in the decomposing of the carbon compounds and returns the carbon to the soil. 🍁This enriches the soil and helps in the growth of plants. 🌿
NSS CRCE in association with organised a tree plantation and soil preparation drive in the St Joseph Convent High school,Bandra compound on the 12th of March, 2022.
Along with NSS CRCE, the NSS unit of .nss had also joined in the effort.

🤔Do you know? Only two mature trees can supply enough oxygen to support a family of four. It costs trillions of dollars to create oxygen and" TREES DO IT FOR FREE." ‼️

🌱This Tuesday our NSS*CRCE held a tree plantation drive at Fr. CRCE Campus🪴
We planted over 30+ variety of saplings..
🌞Thank you to the volunteers who worked together to plant a range of flowering plants and evergreen trees. It is the responsibility of everyone to work towards creating a healthy, pollution free and greener Mumbai and India.🎋

✨𝐍𝐒𝐒 𝐂𝐑𝐂𝐄 ✨ has organised a visit to the Sanjay Gandhi National Park to explore the nature trails.🦁🏞️

There will be complete session in a train 🚆 around the national park🌳 where you'll get to know about various species, birds, and probably even wild animals!! 🐆🐍🦅

✨This weekend, NSS CRCE, took up a search expedition for exploring these mosaics hiding within the Aaji Aajobas of the Vinod Rathod Vrudhashram in Bhayender. 👴🏻👵🏼
💭Talking to these keepers of knowledge opened up vaults of wisdom, otherwise very distant to us, the Gen Z.
🔅The experience of playing with them, entertaining them,
bringing a smile to their faces was something all our volunteer will cherish for the whole of their lives. ❤‍🔥💝

🔅 We were Honored to have with us 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐌𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐀𝐈 who have been working relentlessly in cleanliness and waste management at shores of Mumbai and saving lives of marine species and also have been creating awareness through their programs.
🌟As 𝐌𝐬. 𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐣𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐤𝐚𝐫 and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐓𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐖𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠 enlightened us how Marine litter poses a vast and growing threat to marine and coastal environment and has been endangering the life of species in the ocean.🌀
