From Passion to Purpose: 24 Years of Crafting the Beat 🎧

Looking back at this certificate from Point Blank Music School, London (2018), I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the journey that brought me here. It wasn’t just a milestone; it was a testament to a lifelong commitment to the art of the deck.

My journey in mentorship actually began way back in 2002 with my very first DJ student. Since then, every chapter has added a new layer to my craft.

Reflecting on these years, I’ve realized a few core truths as an instructor:

✨ Teaching is Learning: The moment you stop being a student of the craft is the moment you stop growing.

💖 It’s About the 'Why,' Not Just the 'How': Teaching someone to count bars is the foundation, but teaching them how to read a room and express their true self—that’s where the magic happens.

🔥 Energy is Everything: Technical skills can be practiced, but true vibe and stage presence? That is caught, not taught.

I am deeply grateful and thankful for your continued support through every beat and every transition. To all my past, present, and future students: thank you for trusting me with your creative path. 🥂

The energy in the room is electric, but the energy behind the decks is even stronger. Captured in a burst of motion and neon light, three inseparable friends Amay, Veer and Dr. Rahul (Naam toh suna hoga) are lost in the mix, their hands a blur of adjustments on sliders and jog wheels.

This isn’t just a gig; it’s a full-circle moment. Only a year ago, they were huddled around a single controller, learning, practising, debating beat-matching and scratching techniques. Today, they operate as a single unit, a "triple-threat" collective that has turned a shared hobby into a local sensation.
