YWCA Noida's 'Care & Share' campaign in full swing!
25/11/2015
Winter is approaching!
Northern India will experience a severe cold wave.
There are several people on the streets and slums who don't have proper woollens and blankets to keep them warm!
YWCA Noida is initiating a drive for collecting clothes, woollens and other necessary items to donate it to the needy!
All of us should come forward to save the innocent, helpless lives and open our hearts to spread some warmth and comfort....
Interested people please drop us a message here. We will get in touch with you and provide you with our 'Care & Share' bag, which you can fill in with your pre-loved clothes, blankets, and most of all your love. We will collect the bags from you and distribute it in various slums and streets in Noida.
Happy DIWALI!
Keep your Vehicle/handbag stocked with small boxes of Mithai or a pack of chocolates, crayons, small toy cars, or any other small knick-knacks that can be useful.

**the boys who fill up petrol at petrol pumps,
**the old cobbler who sits under a tree in your neighbourhood,
**the kids who sell toys/balloons at traffic signals,
**kids from the labour camp,
**the lady who sits at the street side with a basket of fresh vegetables,
**the people who collect your trash from your Home !
Smile & wish them a very happy Deepawali
The smile that lights up their faces at your unexpected gesture is more illuminating than a 1000 electric lamps!

Meet our Kindness Ambassador – Mrs. Molly Varghese.
For the past 5-6 years she has being tirelessly collecting clothes, shoes, stationary items, bags and donating it to the needy – chowkidaars, rickshawallahs, maids, and children. She has also visited people in jail and their families to offer them moral support, counseling and give them a positive boost and ray of hope as she feels they are the most neglected group in our society.
She is always on the look out for people she can help, uplift and mentor especially children.
She has found a group of children in Dullupura and Lakshmi Nagar, who are given informal education by a bunch of college students. These children require basic items like stationary, clothes, shoes and bags.
She has proposed to start a ‘clothes bank’ where people can donate any extra clothes, blankets, shoes, pencils, books etc. that can be given to these children.
You can get in touch at 9716492014, if you wish to extend your hand to help!
