Not everyone is a iPhone user.

Not everyone wears Nike.

Not everyone drinks Starbucks.

So why get upset with an audience that was never going to buy from you.

Posting one video a week or a month on social media is not enough volume for the algorithm to help you find people who resonate with you and your brand.

And Truth is you might reach an audience that don’t like you first before you find your audience that do.

If you truly mean you want a big brand be ready for it all.

When you believe God has given you an assignment, everything starts getting filtered differently.

You stop chasing every opportunity.

You stop comparing yourself to everyone else.

You stop getting pulled into things that have nothing to do with where you’re called to go.

The best branded content shifts the focus away from the contractor and onto the customer.

Instead of showing off the final result, explain the decisions that made the result possible.

Your brand should not make homeowners think about you.

It should make homeowners feel like you understand them better than anyone else.

That is when branding starts to work.

A cinematic video means nothing if nobody understands why a homeowner would hire you.

A lot of contractors hire content teams based on editing skills.

Better cameras.

Better transitions.

Better effects.

But homeowners do not hire contractors because of editing.

A beautifully edited video with the wrong message is still the wrong message.
