I am honored to be a presenter at the upcoming Caribbean Mental Health Summit in Kingston, Jamaica, on June 27.

My presentation, “Restoring Safety: Addressing Human Trafficking Through Awareness, Prevention, and Healing,” will explore the devastating impact of human trafficking on individuals, families, and communities.

Human trafficking strips people of their freedom, dignity, safety, and often leaves lasting psychological, emotional, and social wounds.

As mental health professionals, advocates, and community members, we all have a role to play in recognizing the signs, protecting vulnerable populations, and supporting survivors on their journey toward healing and restoration.

I look forward to engaging in meaningful dialogue and sharing strategies that promote safety, resilience, and recovery.
