The UWI Chess Society Hosts Virtual Annual General Meeting

The University of the West Indies Chess Society will host its Annual General Meeting virtually on Thursday February 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm. The agenda will include the following: electing new executives, creating an agenda for the academic year and an online chess tournament.

Practicing chess often is one of the best things you can do to improve your chess game.

Chess is played Thursdays in Physics lecture Room C at 2:00 PM over the Faculty of Science and Technology.

Practice match against the UTech Knights next week Thursday at 3:30pm. Let's dethrone them in their own castle.

UWI Mona gives creditable showing at int'l chess tournament | Marketing and Communications... The University of the West Indies Mona campus has been recognized as second best international team at the Pan American Intercollegiate Chess Championships with a score of 2.5 points.

The UWI 2013 Chess team will be featured on Nationwide 90FM tonight from 8:15 to 8:30.
