Another successful training day at Knowledgeville School as Grade 4 and Grade 5 learners were introduced to the game of Scrabble.

The session focused on learning through play, helping learners build vocabulary, spelling confidence, and strategic thinking in an engaging and interactive way.

Most people’s names are not playable in Scrabble. Proper nouns like names, countries and brands are usually banned in official gameplay because Scrabble only allows words found in the dictionary. Otherwise players would start inventing cousins, pets and mysterious uncles called “Xqtravius” just to land triple word scores.
