Beomeosa, with 1,300 years of history, shares Korea’s 1,700-year plant-based temple cuisine.

An Intangible Heritage now under UNESCO review, it offers quiet, pure flavors shaped by nature, seasonality, and mindful living.

Honored to be invited to two special broadcasts on Busan English Broadcasting (BeFM) during the season of Buddha’s Birthday celebrations in Korea.

During the programs, we introduced Korean temple culture, temple food, wellness tourism, and the cultural identity of Busan to international audiences through both English and Chinese-language broadcasts.

As someone working in MICE, cultural tourism, and corporate retreat planning, I believe Busan has strong potential as a destination where heritage, mindfulness, nature, and modern hospitality can naturally come together.

I was especially grateful to share stories connected to Beomeosa Temple and Korean temple cuisine — traditions that offer not only unique culinary experiences, but also deeper perspectives on sustainability, balance, and mindful living.

Special thanks to the wonderful teams behind BeFM’s “All Star English” and “华语知音(화어지음)” for the warm invitations and meaningful conversations.

Looking forward to continuing to build bridges between Korean culture and global audiences through tourism, wellness, and international exchange.🙏
