මොකක්ද මේ කියන්නේ

උදාහරණයක් විදියට ගෙඩොලක් හදන එකක් ගමු....

මේකට පස් කපන්න වෙනවා..
පස් කපන්න පස් කපන යන්ත්‍රයක් (මැෂීන් එකක්) ඕනෑ වෙනවා.
එක නිකන් වැඩ කරන්නේ නැහැ. ඒකට ඉන්ධන ඕන වෙනවා.

ඔන්න දැන් තමයි අපේ පොයින්ට් එකට එන්නේ. ඉන්ධන දහනය කරන විට මොකක් වෙන්නේ කියනවා නම්, පරිසරයට කාබන් ඩයොක්සයිඩ් (CO₂) නිකුත් වෙනවා

ඔන්න දැන් ඉදන් පරිසරයක කාබන් එකතු වෙන්න පටන් ගන්නවා.

ඒ ලඟට මොකද්ද වෙන්නේ?

ගඩොල් එතනම හදන්නේ නැහැ. මේ පස් ටික වෙන තැනකට ගෙනියනවා. එතකොට ටිපර් එකකින් ට්‍රාන්ස්පෝර්ට් කරනවා හදන තැනට. එතකොට ඔන්න ආයෙමත් පරිසරයට කාබන් එකතු වෙනවා. ඒයි, ටිපර් එකේ ඉන්ධන දහනයෙන්.

ඒ ලඟට මේ ගඩොල් මැෂීන් එකකින් හදනවා කියලා කියමු. ඒකට විදුලිය භාවිතා කරනවා කියලා කියමු. ඔන්න ආයේත් ගල් අඟුරු පුච්චලා ඔයාලට ඕන විදුලිය දෙන්නවා

ඔන්න බොලේ ආයෙත් පරිසරයට කාබන් නිකුත් වෙනවා.

ඒතකොට ඔයාලට හිතගන්න පුළුවන් අපේ site එකක් දක්වා එන ගමනට කොච්චර කාබන් ප්‍රමාණයක් පරිසරයට මුදාහැරෙනවා කියලා, විවිධ ක්‍රියාවලි හරහා ගමන් කරන කොට.

මෙන්න මේ මුළු ප්‍රොසස් එකෙම කාබන් වල එකතුවට තමයි අපි Embodied Carbon Value කියලා කියන්නේ.

Embodied Carbon (kg CO₂e)=Quantity of Material×Emission Factor of Material.

මේ emission factors ලොකේ පුරා වැගයෙන් දියුණු කරනවා , ඒ ඒවා භාවිතා කරමින් පරිසරය රැකගැනීමට.

That’s called Embodied Carbon — the total CO₂ emitted before a brick ever reaches a wall. 💨

Here’s the reality: producing just 1,000 new bricks can release about 200 kg of CO₂ — equal to driving a car nearly 850 kilometres. 🚗

But when we reuse existing bricks, we avoid all that carbon from being released again.
Each reused brick is a small act of preservation — saving energy, reducing waste, and protecting our planet’s future. 🌿

Building with reused bricks isn’t just smart — it’s sustainable, circular, and climate-conscious. 💚
