The Past Pupils’ Association of Ave Maria Convent, Negombo, recently donated gymnastics and karate training mattresses worth Rs. 500 000/ to the school in response to an urgent request made by the Principal, Rev. Sr. Priyangani Hathurusinghe.

The donation was made to support the safety and training needs of students engaged in gymnastics and karate activities. Members of the Association were delighted to contribute towards this worthy cause using a portion of the funds raised through their successful fundraiser, Twinkling Blues 2026.
