At the end of the learning session, nursing and midwifery managers made a powerful commitment to let go of practices and behaviors that are not aligned with professional standards and effective leadership.

In this symbolic activity, participants wrote down unprofessional habits and leadership behaviors they pledged to discontinue and then discarded them as a sign of their commitment to positive change.

Strong leadership begins with self-reflection and the courage to embrace best practices. Together, we are building a culture of professionalism, accountability, respect, and excellence in nursing and midwifery leadership.

As the learning session came to a close, nursing and midwifery managers reflected on the positive leadership behaviors and best practices they have learned and committed to sustaining in their daily work.

Through this activity, participants identified key behaviors they will continue to practice, including effective communication, accountability, teamwork, mentorship, professionalism, ethical decision-making, self-care (creating the "ME TIME), and supportive leadership.

These commitments represent more than words—they are promises to lead with purpose, inspire excellence, and create positive work environments that promote quality patient care.

The journey of leadership is continuous, and today we celebrate the habits that will help shape stronger leaders and stronger health systems for the future.

The time spent together was truly enriching. Beyond the learning sessions, participants engaged in meaningful networking, shared professional experiences, and held insightful discussions that strengthened relationships and inspired new ideas.

Leadership is not only about managing people—it is also about building connections, supporting one another, and creating a positive work environment where everyone can thrive.

As we conclude this journey, we are reminded that happy leaders build healthy teams, and healthy teams deliver exceptional care.

Together, we learn. Together, we grow.Together, we lead.
