As a Swedish Muslim woman - born in Sweden, reverted by choice - this is personal.
My hijab is not oppression.
It is mine.
An expression of my faith.
My identity.
My freedom.
Sweden taught me to think freely.
Islam taught me to live with purpose.
Both live in me.
Both make me who I am.
To my Swedish sisters wearing hijab -
