It was a privilege for the LML Centre to be invited to participate in the International SIPeS Conference 2026 on Inclusion. This Conference brought together scholars, educators, policy makers, and practitioners committed to advancing inclusive education across diverse contexts.

Hosted by the University of Malta in collaboration with the University of Salerno and the Italian Society of Special Pedagogy (SIPeS), the conference explored how education can empower all learners to flourish in our rapidly changing world.

As part of this enriching experience, the LML team delivered a workshop showcasing the Let Me Learn Process—highlighting it as both a foundational and practical approach that embraces learner diversity while actively promoting inclusive practices in education.

It was also an honour to meet up once again with Prof. Christine Johnston, founder of the Let Me Learn Process, and Mr. T. Joel Johnston, Executive Director at Let Me Learn. Their passion and commitment continue to inspire meaningful change in how we approach teaching and learning.

The Let Me Learn (LML) Professional Learning Process continues to inspire meaningful growth. Participants are engaging deeply with effective practices that help them integrate the LML Process into their daily roles, empowering them to work more intentionally and effectively.

Educators are using LML to foster metacognitive practices in their classrooms, supporting learners in developing a stronger growth mindset through the use of strategies. At the same time, other professionals are applying these strategies to enhance communication, strengthen teamwork, and achieve improved outcomes within their work environments.

What stands out most is the level of commitment and creativity shown throughout this journey. Participants are not only embracing new ideas but are also producing work of very high standards, reflecting thoughtful practice and genuine engagement. It is truly encouraging to witness such dedication, collaboration, and willingness to grow.
