More Eco-Schools educational resources for educators and parents alike.

🌊 On World Oceans Day: 8 June, Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) is proud to release the Water Explorers Education Guide, developed in collaboration with Sow my Dream - Spindrift for Schools, the educational programme of Dona Bertarelli Philanthropy.

Designed for educators and other adults who support young people’s learning, this free global resource provides practical tools, hands-on activities, and inspiring examples to help learners investigate and protect the water environments around them.

Through local exploration, hands-on learning, and real-world stories from across the FEE and Sow My Dream networks, the guide empowers adults to nurture curiosity, environmental leadership, and a deeper connection to nature in the next generation.

Together, we are helping young people become Water Explorers in their schools, communities, and beyond by building the knowledge and confidence to care for our blue planet.

Happy World Environment Day!
The United Nation this year is focussing on climate action and sustainability.
In collaboration with our corporate sponsor Atlas Insurance. The educational FEE programmes managed by Nature Trust - FEE Malta are especially focussing on climate resilience, that is, the ability of ecosystems, societies, and businesses to anticipate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from hazardous climate-related impacts. Let's all work together to create more pathways for a sustainable life on Earth.

🍎 Healthy Eating Meets Sustainability! 🥗

We are thrilled to share the success of our "Yummy Tummies on a Budget," the whole-school event was organized by the Gozo College Dun Salv Vella Nadur Primary School! 🏫✨

The event allowed the entire school community to come together and prepare delicious, healthy foods with the wonderful support of educators and a dedicated parent volunteer.

👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 The amazing students took the lead by delivering an inspiring presentation on healthy eating and proudly showcasing the nutritious meals they prepared for the whole school.

To keep the momentum going, flyers packed with healthy lunch ideas were distributed!

💡 These aim to encourage healthier daily choices and promote waste reduction by focusing on reusable containers and fresh, local produce. ♻️🍅

🌍 This fantastic initiative was part of the Sustainable and Healthy Food Practices action plan led by our hardworking EkoSkola committee throughout this school year.

A massive THANK YOU to LIDL Malta for the funds, which helped make this educational event possible! 🙏💚

Atlas Insurance Community Development Fund and HSBC Malta Foundation are corporate sponsors of the EkoSkola, LEAF and YRE programmes run by Nature Trust - FEE Malta.
