Some people ask, where do these children go after graduating their primary education. As we all know that this school comprises pre-primary school having four classes (1-4) & primary school with eight classes (1-8). Together making12 classes. In a twelveth class which is standard 8 they sit PSLCE together with learners from regular schools. They compete places in secondary school using same criteria by MANEB to pass and get selected to various secondary schools such as chilumba, Mzuzu Government, Embangweni secondary just to mention afew.

Proud of you learners at karonga school for the deaf. Apart from learning from their teachers, they also learn by themselves through e-readers and gadgets e.g tablets which are uploaded with book stories and lessons video clips accompanied by various words & voice of articulation to assist them lip read. Other books with pictures accompanied with words. Other times, these learners do craft works. Despite having hearing impairment, they still like music and dances. They can sing and dance amazingly. Disability is not inability. Photos you see those were candidate who sat for 2023 PSLCE.
