Worldwide Day of Prayer – CRU | Life Ministry Malawi
Today marks a special moment for us at Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) as we join believers across the globe for our Worldwide Day of Prayer, a powerful gathering that happens twice every year.
As Life Ministry Malawi, we are united across all regions, North, Central, and South with our staff, volunteers, partners, and friends, lifting our voices together in prayer and praise to God.
In the South, we are gathered in Blantyre
In the Central Region, we are meeting in Lilongwe
In the North, we are gathered in Mzuzu
This year’s theme is drawn from 1 Thessalonians 1:2–5: “Pray, Rejoice, and Give Thanks.”
Our National Director, Ronald Mjuweni, shared a powerful message on this theme, encouraging us to remain steadfast in prayer, joyful in hope, and grateful in all circumstances.
We invite you to stand with us in prayer today.

Multiplication of Churches and Communities Training (MC2)
Following a wonderful experience with the Student-Led Movement at MZUNI last night, we have officially kicked off the Multiplication of Churches and Communities Training (MC2).
MC2 is a modified evangelism and training program specifically tailored for church outreach. It is designed to strengthen efforts in church multiplication, movement building, and the establishment of Bible study groups.
The training is structured into three progressive levels:
• Launch
• Develop
• Multiply
We are currently engaging in the Launch level, which lays the foundation for effective outreach and discipleship.

Today we celebrated a wonderful graduation ceremony in Blantyre at Blantyre Baptist Church.
Life Ministry Malawi equips Christians in evangelism and discipleship through the New Life Training Curriculum (NLTC), which includes four levels: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Leadership, followed by Training of Trainers (TOT).
We thank God for the graduates:
• Basic Level – 7
• Intermediate Level – 2
• Advanced Level – 1
• Leadership Level – 1
• Training of Trainers (TOT) – 16
Two participants from the New Staff Training program were also commissioned today as full-time missionaries, dedicating their lives to serving the Lord.
Another highlight was the graduation of three missionary interns who completed an intensive one-year field ministry internship. After completing all NLTC levels and becoming Trainers of Trainers, they now step forward as missionaries ready to serve God in different ministries.
The Guest of Honor, Hon. Justice Chimwemwe Kamowa, encouraged the graduates to serve faithfully and with dedication so that many more people may come to Christ. She shared her joy in seeing young people passionate about serving the Lord.
Meanwhile, Rev. Dr. Chirwa of Blantyre Baptist Church commissioned and prayed for the missionaries as they step into their new responsibilities in ministry.
Graduates also shared powerful testimonies of how God worked in their lives during the training and expressed gratitude to Dr. Moses and Harriet Kintu for their dedication in equipping them.
What a joy to witness such a milestone in ministry, raising disciples and reaching others with the Gospel.
Congraturations
To God be the glory!

The day at the conference ended in a truly memorable and impactful way at Calvary Family Church – Lilongwe.
As the sessions concluded, every attendee walked away not only enriched by the teachings but also blessed with two powerful books:
1. Holistic Ethical Leadership
2. You Are Not Alone
These books are more than just reading materialsthey are tools for continued growth, reflection, and transformation. They reinforce the core message of the conference: leadership must be holistic, ethical, and grounded in strong spiritual and personal foundations.
The smiles, conversations, and sense of fulfillment at the close of the day reflected the depth of impact this gathering has made. Leaders left equipped, encouraged, and empowered to serve with greater integrity and balance.
Indeed, it was a fitting and meaningful conclusion to a remarkable conference.

Now Dr. Tariku Fufa is sharing the first session of the day, and it has set a powerful tone for the conference.
He is emphasizing the importance of addressing the seven dimensions of the human being in order to lead and serve God holistically. Leadership is not one-dimensional it requires wholeness and intentional growth in every area of life.
Here are the 7 Dimensions he unpacked:
• Spiritual
• Physical
• Financial
• Social
• Mental
• Psychological
• Emotional
Dr. Tariku is equipping leaders in a dynamic and highly interactive way. His teaching is practical, relatable, and grounded in real-life experience. He openly shares his personal journey, making the session both authentic and impactful.
At one point, he shared a powerful video testimony to further illustrate his message a moment that deeply resonated with the leaders in the room.
