Educate Chombo

Women play an integral role throughout the world, as well as in rural communities. Here we present to you five ways that women’s presence and involvement throughout the community can improve the quality of life in general throughout the community in which they are participating in.

Educate Chombo’s goal is to raise these groups up through providing resources through our community library, as well as women’s economic empowerment groups such as the tailoring group, and the community garden group. Women are also involved in the community feeding program.

Hello all! Here are some photos of the Chombo Community working together to sell various crops and plants! The goal of our community garden project is to create a space for the community to grow various plants and crops that is essential to their diet, and give these crops to those in need. Our goal is to make our feeding program self sustaining, but we need your help. To launch our program to its full capacity, the community asked us to provide $300 dollars to buy supplies such as pots, pans, bowls, and food supplies. Hello friends happy Tuesday, it's time for another Chombo highlight 🎉🎉🎉
The Community Food Project is led by our own awesome women in chombo who gather at least 2x/week to cook breakfast and dinner that feeds local children and families. These meals are traditional to their diet and can include corn porridge, but nut porridge, and a variety of other meals using in season vegetable and fruit.

This program directly benefits orphans and the elderly to receive food. This is crucial because of the COVID-19 pandemic, access to food is becoming more and more of a challenge due to lack of money and work available.

As crucial as this program is, it cannot continue without YOUR support!
