Farewell & Best Wishes, Mr. Lameck J.B. Kayuni!
Today, Holy Family College of Health Sciences bids a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Lameck J.B. Kayuni as he embarks on a new journey as Pharmacy Manager at the Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM) .
A Pharmacist by profession, Lameck joined the Holy Family College of Health Sciences in 2022 as a Pharmacy Lecturer. Later that same year, in December, he took on the role of Head of Pharmacy. Under his steady leadership, the department saw remarkable growth in student numbers, a notable improvement in student conduct, and a continued commitment to academic excellence.
In 2026, he further expanded his impact by stepping into the role of Dean of Students. His dedication to the institution extended beyond the classroom as he served as secretary for key committees, including:
🔹 The Student Disciplinary Committee
🔹 The Examinations Committee
And twice served as Chairperson for the Graduation Committee
Your leadership, wisdom, and dedication have left an indelible mark on this institution. We thank you for your service and wish you God’s guidance and success in your new role at CHAM.

HOLY FAMILY COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES BIDS FAREWELL TO MRS WEZI TINKHENI BANDA BONYONGA
Today, we celebrate, honour, and bid a heartfelt farewell to one of our own, Mrs. Wezi Tinkheni Banda Bonyonga, as she retires from active service. For our college, this is not just a farewell to a lecturer, but to a beloved member of our family whose journey is deeply intertwined with our own.
Mrs. Bonyonga’s story is the story of Malawian nursing excellence. She began her distinguished career in 1990, serving patients with skill and compassion in hospitals across the country from Mchinji to KCH to QECH. Her passion for elevating the profession led her back to school, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Nursing and Midwifery Education.
Holy Family first had the honour of hosting her talents from 2008-2015. After a period of dedicated service in clinical leadership, her heart called her back to teaching. In June 2019, she chose to return to our family, driven by a profound passion to mould the next generation of nurses.
For the past six and a half years, her presence in our lecture halls has been a gift. She didn't just teach; she inspired. She didn't just instruct; she shaped professionals. Her vast experience, from the bedside to the boardroom, enriched our curriculum and our students beyond measure.
Mrs. Bonyonga, you leave us not just with a vacant office, but with a legacy. A legacy of unwavering commitment, scholarly contribution, and immense pride in our profession. You retired from government service in 2019, but you chose to give your final years to us, a fact we will always cherish.
On behalf of the Board, Administration, Staff, and all the students, past and present, whose lives you have touched, we say ZIKOMO KWAMBIRI.
May God richly bless you in this new chapter. May it be filled with rest, joy, and the profound satisfaction of a life spent in service to healing and teaching. You will always have a home at Holy Family.
Farewell, Madam. Go well.
