Our club held the Japanese Language and Culture Joint Exploration Project, or JLCJEP for short, across 6 weeks starting from 14 November 2025 to 19 December 2025!
This project brought together students majoring in Japanese at the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, and exchange students from Japan, both from Universiti Malaya (UM) as well as students from the University of Tsukuba, Malaysia (UTMy) in the spirit of cross-cultural interaction. The participants worked in mixed groups, exchanging ideas and insights they each brought from their respective cultures and institutions.
We would like to express our gratitude to UTMy for their cooperation, as well as to the Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) for agreeing to provide us with a tour of their library. Last but not least, to the participants, thank you for pouring in your efforts to make this project the success that it is!
