A meaningful milestone in advancing community healthcare.

The handover ceremony of a RM188,000 contribution from EXIM Bank Malaysia to the IIUM Dialysis Centre, through the IIUM Endowment Fund initiative, marked the official delivery of two dialysis machines and one Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water System.

This contribution will enhance the centre’s capacity to provide quality dialysis treatment and generate scholarships program to the needy students through the profit of dialysis centre. It reflects EXIM Bank’s commitment to creating a positive social impact through strategic community and healthcare initiatives.

IIUM extends its heartfelt appreciation to EXIM Bank Malaysia for its generous support and partnership in improving access to essential healthcare services.

Together, we continue to empower lives and build healthier communities.

IIUM recently took part in the launch of the World University Network for Productive Waqf (WUNPROQ) at IPB University on 4–5 June 2026.

During the event, IIUM shared its experience in using waqf and endowment funds to support education, research, and community development. The university also signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with IPB University and joined a coffee-tree planting activity.

This achievement reflects IIUM’s commitment to promoting Islamic Social Finance and creating positive impact for the community.
