Today, as we join the world to celebrate Children’s Day, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the gift of every child.
Yet, we cannot ignore the reality that some children are missing from their homes and schools. We remember them today, especially those affected by painful incidents such as the abducted children in Oyo State and many others whose families are still hoping, praying, and waiting.
As a point of contact, we lift every child across the world into God’s hands.
We declare:
That every child shall be protected under divine covering.
No evil shall come near their dwelling, homes, schools, or paths.
Every missing child shall be found and safely restored to their families.
God’s peace shall comfort every broken and waiting heart.
There shall be healing for every land and restoration for every family affected.
We speak life, safety, and joy over every child today and always. May their innocence be preserved, their futures secured, and their destinies fulfilled in peace.
