Is it okay to idle a car with the AC on?
The real problem is that at idle, the alternator does not produce a lot of power. As long as the car's cooling system keeps the engine in normal operating range you can idle your car indefinitely. The car has fan assisted cooling so that when the car is not moving there is still airflow over the radiator, the oil cooler, and the air conditioning condenser so that they will operate normally. Watch the engine temperature, and if it is in normal range then the car should be OK.

Newer vehicles with electric cooling fans have zero issues with operating the AC at idle sp*eds. The cooling fan system is capable of creating enough airflow to cool the engine and the AC system as well unless there is an issue with one of the systems causing less than designed efficiency. Older vehicles with mechanical cooling fans don't work as well at idle so the AC system doesn't operate at 100%.

Hot days are usually when you want to idle with the A/C on, so that requires even more performance from the cooling system. An air conditioner also puts a lot of heat into the air stream in front of the radiator causing higher than normal radiator temperatures. If your cooling system is not in top shape your engine could overheat. Any bulging hoses should be replaced and coolant should not be more than two years old.
It's horrible for your gas mileage, as you are burning fuel and getting zero miles. It's horrible for CO2 emissions. Lower oil pressures tend to cause excessive wear on moving parts, and extended idling is considered severe service. As long as the air conditioning or any other load does not exceed the power generated by the alternator, there is no harm done, but if the battery loses its stored charge, everything will come to a dead stop. Police cars have upgraded cooling systems and better alternators, which is why they can idle for hours without temperature problems.

I like to drink but don’t want liver failure. What are some things I can do to offset the booze to protect my liver function? Is wine better than the hard stuff?
Alcohol is a poison; a poison that the body can deal with but still a poison. But strangely enough, today more people have none alcohol related liver failure than alcohol related. Now imagine you have both at the same time? If you are not careful, and you are a drinker, your liver; though quite resilient, can fail. Learn about none alcohol liver damage. Eat healthy fat. Avoid unhealthy fat and carbs. If your chosen carb is alcohol you had better avoid the rest. Sugar is the worst. A little fruit, but no refined sugar. Eat any sugars with meals. Protein and fat mostly, and lots of low carb vegetables. Eat green salads. Nuts are a good snack. Beef jerky. Potato chips are bad. Unhealthy fat, and potato has lots of carbs. Avoid bread and crackers; about as bad as sugar.
Most of all, understand that sugar is as addictive as any drug. Work your way off of it, and avoid it. Only have sugar with fiber is easier to control, IE raisins and other fruit. And control those kinds of sugar. And get most of your calories from protein and fat.
Final suggestion, hydration. Lots of damage of alcohol can be reduced if the body has adequate water. Be careful, it is also possible to drink too much water, but drinking enough has many benefits; including reduced hangovers. Find a system to monitor hydration. One hint, if you are not producing urine, your kidneys have shut down, probably because of lack of water. If you p*e is absolutely clear, probably your kidneys are dumping excess water.
What are some natural methods for reducing creatinine levels in the blood without undergoing dialysis or a transplant?

In nature, the primary purpose of mangoes is biological reproduction and seed dispersal. The sweet, nutritious fruit evolved to attract animals, ensuring the seed inside is transported and planted away from the parent tree. Additionally, the fallen fruit and dense canopy enrich local soil and support ecosystem biodiversity.

The mango (Mangifera indica) fulfills this evolutionary and ecological purpose in several key ways:
Wikipedia
Seed Dispersal (Zoochory): The bright colors and rich sugars of the fruit evolved to attract birds, primates, and other frugivores. After consuming the flesh, animals typically discard or excrete the large pit (seed), effectively planting the tree in a new location.
Evolutionary Anachronism: Mangoes are often classified as anachronisms. Their large seeds originally evolved to be swallowed and dispersed by prehistoric megafauna—massive animals that are now extinct. Today, they rely on modern wildlife and humans for widespread distribution.
Soil & Ecosystem Health: Mango trees have deep taproots that reach far into the earth, anchoring the soil to prevent erosion and drawing up deep moisture. Their broad canopies provide natural shade, keeping the ground cool and retaining soil moisture.
Nutrient Cycling: The dropping of leaves and overripe fruit provides a self-sustaining cycle that fertilizes the ground naturally. Falling branches or finished timber are also used by local wildlife and human community..

The Captain of the ship is the highest-ranking officer on board, holding ultimate command and legal responsibility for the vessel, its crew, cargo, and passengers. They make critical decisions regarding navigation, safety protocols, and daily operations, ensuring the ship complies with all maritime laws.
Wikipedia +3
Understanding the role involves examining its primary responsibilities and its use as a common idiom.
Core Responsibilities at Sea
Ultimate Authority: The captain (also formally known as the Master) is legally responsible for everything that happens on the ship.
Navigation and Safety: They oversee route planning, weather management, and emergency response procedures to ensure safe passage.
Crew Management: They lead, direct, and manage all officers and crew members on board.
Administrative and Legal: They ensure the ship, its cargo, and everyone aboard adhere to both local and international maritime regulations.

The Idiom: "You Are the Captain of Your Own Ship"
In a figurative sense, this phrase means you are in complete control of your own life, choices, and destiny. It implies that you have the authority—and the responsibility—to steer yourself through challenges, take ownership of your decisions, and determine where your "vessel" ends up.
You can explore more about this leadership role and maritime operations through the Wikipedia Sea Captain Overview.
