Love compelled Jesus to give up privilege, prioritize people, serve others, and give His life. He valued both truth and grace. When unsure how to love, look to Him. As we love like Jesus, we become more like Him. Amen. Have a great day!

God’s will is not hidden rituals, but heart motives. He requires us to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with Him. Love God, love people, defend the weak, show mercy, and stay surrendered. That’s what pleases Him most. Amen! Have a good day.

Love is at the center of following Jesus. He calls us to love God fully and love others deeply. We’re known by our love, not knowledge or activity. Love forgives. Ask God today to fill your heart and show you how to love well. Amen. Have a great day!

LOVE - THE ONLY ANCHOR THAT LASTS

1 Corinthians 13:8 (NKJV) “Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.”

1. The Reality of the End
Every earthly thing has an expiration date. No matter how good or bad a situation is right now, it will not last forever.
• There is an end to Our Earthly Status: Your current job, political position, social influence, wealth, education, and even physical beauty will eventually fade or come to an end.
• There is an end to Our Earthly Struggles: On the flip side, your current pain, trials, and seasons of suffering also have an expiration date. They will not last forever (2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all”).
• There is also The Guaranteed Promise: As believers, the ultimate conclusion of our lives is not a tragedy. Proverbs 23:18 promises: “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.”

2. The Danger of Misplaced Expectations
Many people spend their entire lives building things that are destined to vanish. We easily fall into the trap of focusing all our prayers and energy on temporary milestones.
The Earthly Trap: We chase financial wealth, career heights, and material comfort. While these things are not wrong, they are temporary.
The Religious Error: It is easy to become highly religious—attending every service and chasing spiritual titles—while failing to treat the human beings around us with fairness, empathy, and kindness. We live as though this world will last forever, or as if the end is too far away to care about.

3. What Happens When Everything Else Fails?
The Bible makes it clear that even our highest spiritual achievements on earth have a limit. In 1 Corinthians 13:8-10, the Apostle Paul reminds us that prophecies will fail, tongues will cease, and human knowledge will vanish. These are just temporary tools for a temporary world.
• The Exception: The only thing that survives the end of the world is love. When we finally stand before the Father, our degrees, bank accounts, and even our spiritual gifts won't matter. Only love remains. This is why Paul commands us in 1 Corinthians 16:14: “Let all that you do be done with love.”

4. Love as Our Eternal Anchor
If our ultimate expectation is to spend eternity with the Father, love is the anchor that connects our current journey to that final destination.
• Love is not just an emotion; it is the currency of heaven.
• It is the proof that we truly know God, because “God is love” (1 John 4:8).
• True success is not measured by what we acquire, but by how deeply we love God and how intentionally we love our neighbors (Matthew 22:37-39).
As we walk through this life, navigating both the good times and the hard times, remember that everything around us is passing away. Don't invest your entire heart into temporary things. As you build your career, your family, and your life, make sure your foundation is permanent.
In every decision, every conversation, and every relationship: Let love lead.

Shalom! PTony

No condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. The Spirit frees us from sin and death. If God is for us, who can be against us? The Creator defends you. Rely on Him as Judge. You belong to Him, and He is forever on your side. Amen. Happy Sunday!

When you pass through waters, rivers, or fire, God is faithful. He parted seas, dried rivers, and delivered from flames. He has gone before you. Trials won’t have the final say. Remember His past faithfulness, and trust Him with your future. Amen. Happy weekend!

Love is patient, kind, and never fails. Without love, gifts mean nothing. We often fall short, but Jesus showed real love by laying down His life. Through His Spirit, God gives us all we need to love others like He loves us. Amen. Have a blessed Friday!
