📢 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ONLINE SCREENING AND PHYSICAL SCREENING AT UNIABUJA

We have received numerous questions from aspirants regarding the difference between Online Screening and Physical Screening at the University of Abuja and how both processes are conducted. Here's a simple explanation:

🔹 ONLINE SCREENING (Pre-Screening)

The University of Abuja does not conduct a Post-UTME examination. Admission consideration is primarily based on the online screening of candidates' JAMB and O'Level results.

During the online screening, candidates are required to submit:

✅ Personal Information (Bio-data)
✅ JAMB Details
✅ O'Level/A'Level Results

After submission, candidates are assessed and assigned a screening score based largely on the grades in their relevant O'Level subjects.

📌 Candidates with higher grades (A's and B's) generally stand a better chance than candidates with lower grades.

🔹 PHYSICAL SCREENING

Candidates who are eventually considered for admission may be invited for physical verification of credentials.

This process involves the admission officers verifying the authenticity of your documents and ensuring you meet the admission requirements.

During physical screening, a candidate may be:

1️⃣ Screened into the department – You meet the requirements and are eligible for admission into your chosen course.

2️⃣ Screened into another department – You do not meet the requirements for your chosen course but qualify for another available programme.

3️⃣ Screened out – You do not meet the admission requirements and are therefore not considered eligible.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE

Receiving admission on JAMB CAPS or seeing your name on the University portal does not automatically guarantee final admission. Candidates must still satisfy all verification and screening requirements of the University.
