VISIT OF THE PONTIFICAL MISSION SOCIETY, U. S
Sacred Heart Seminary, Akure, recently had the honor of hosting delegates from the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS). The visitors included Msgr. Roger Landry, National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies in the United States; Fr. Augustine Dada, Vice President of the Society of St. Peter the Apostle; and Fr. Solomon Zaku, National Director of PMS in Nigeria.

The visit proved both inspiring and memorable. Msgr. Landry was warmly received on the seminary’s hallowed grounds, where he addressed the seminarians and encouraged them to deepen their trust in Christ, find strength in prayer, and remain committed to their studies and training . He also urged them to pursue excellence in their spiritual, academic and personal formation.

Overall, the encounter was a fulfilling one for the seminary community, leaving the students renewed in faith and motivated to strive for greatness in the future

DIOCESAN EDUCATION COMMISSION INSPIRES STUDENTS AT SACRED HEART SEMINARY

In line with its ongoing zonal interactive meetings, the Diocesan Education Commission (DEC) paid a working visit to Sacred Heart Seminary earlier this week. The team, ably led by the Rev. Fr. Valentine Omolakin, was received on the hallowed grounds of the seminary. During the visit, the Commission went on a tour of the facilities, taking time to go round classrooms and halls to encourage the students and interact with them on their academic progress.

Our 44th Secondary Inter-House Sports was a huge success! The thrill of competition and the joy of teamwork made it a memorable event for everyone involved. Congratulations to every house for their incredible efforts and sportsmanship. A special shout out to White House (St. Jude) for emerging victorious and claiming the first position! Well done, champions!
