What a colourful and exciting Children’s Day celebration we had at the school yesterday.

From the energy at the match past competition to the intensity of the debates, the intelligence displayed during the quiz and spelling bee competitions, and the laughter that filled the air during the egg race, every moment was lively, beautiful, and memorable.

The day was packed with fun, excitement, cheers, and unforgettable moments as the students happily participated in the various activities prepared for them.

LIFE IN MY CITY ART FOUNDATION (LIMCAF) WORKSHOP 2026

Students of St. Monica Girls’ School participated in the two-day LIMCAF Art Workshop held at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu.

The workshop focused on drawing, painting and dying, aimed at nurturing creativity and artistic expression among young students. Participants were provided with art materials and engaged in practical sessions where they learned various drawing, painting and cloth dying techniques.

Our students actively participated in the exercises and produced creative artworks which will later be exhibited and assessed by the organisers.

It was indeed an engaging, educational, and inspiring experience for our young artists. 🌟🖌️

As they gradually draw the curtains on their secondary school experience, these moments serve as beautiful reminders of the hard work, growth, friendships, and memories built over the years at St. Monica Girls’ School.
From classroom lessons to practical sessions, examinations, and unforgettable experiences, the journey has been one of learning and transformation.

Programme: Closing of the academic year mass.

The opening and closing of academic year mass is an annual mass celebration with His Lordship, Most Rev. CVC Onaga.

On Nov 1st ,2025(All Saints day) we attended the opening of the 2025/2026 academic year mass celebration at CIC Uwani, Enugu.

And on the 14th day of May 2026( Ascension of the Lord), we went for the closing of the 2025/2026 academic year.

This celebration is an event where the Bishop teaches, interacts, pray and blesses the students before and after each academic session. Every school under the Catholic Education Secretariat Enugu Diocese was duly represented including our prestigious college.
