Bridging the gap between parents and teachers for student success.

15/06/2026

Dear parents,

Not every child thrives in the same environment.

Some children flourish in boarding school. Others perform better when they return home each day.

The best choice may not be what worked for others. It may be what works for your child.

Should parents consider personality before choosing boarding school?

One of the hardest moments for many parents is dropping a child off at boarding school for the first time.

The child may cry. The parent may cry. Yet both hope it will be worth it.

Do you think boarding school helps children grow, or does it sometimes take them away from important family connections?

A boarding school can teach children how to solve problems, manage time, and live with people from different backgrounds.

But it can also mean less daily guidance from parents during critical years of growth.

What do you believe children gain or lose from boarding school life?

Happy Sunday,

Heavenly Father, bless our children with wisdom, protection, and good character. Strengthen parents and teachers with patience, understanding, and guidance as they work together to support every child.

May this week bring growth, success, and peace to every family.

Amen.

Many students already use phones at home for assignments and research.

If phones can support learning outside school, should they also be allowed inside the classroom under proper supervision?

What safeguards would you put in place?

As Nigeria celebrates Independence Day, many families are carrying burdens that cannot be seen.

Parents are stretching every naira.
Teachers are doing their best with limited resources.
Children are growing up in a season of uncertainty.

Yet, despite the hardship, insecurity, and daily challenges, we must not allow our children to lose hope.

They are watching us.
Learning from us.
Becoming the future of this nation through the examples we set today.

The Nigeria of tomorrow is sitting in our homes and classrooms today.

Let's raise children who are resilient, compassionate, responsible, and courageous enough to build the nation we all dream of.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria.

Today’s children are growing up in a Nigeria where adults are constantly adapting.

Families are making sacrifices silently.

Parents are working harder just to maintain stability.
And many households are learning to do more with less.

But children do not just hear what we say, they feel the environment we create.

Do they feel peace in the home or pressure?

Do they feel encouraged or constantly worried?

This Independence Day, let us remember:

A child raised in emotional stability can grow into an adult who brings stability to society.

Even in difficult times, our homes can still produce hope.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria.
