YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY (YABATECH) RELEASES 2026/2027 ND & BSc FULL-TIME ADMISSION FORM
The management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has officially commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its National Diploma (ND) and BSc
(Education) Full-Time programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Eligible candidates who chose YABATECH as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME are invited to apply. Candidates who did not initially choose the institution may also apply after completing a Change of Institution through JAMB.
Applicants must meet the required UTME cut-off mark for their chosen programme, possess at least five relevant O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings, and upload their O'Level results to JAMB CAPS.

WAEC, NECO Question Leakages Now Eliminated, Says Education Minister Tunji Alausa
The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has announced that the Federal Government has eliminated the leakage of examination questions in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the National Examinations Council (NECO) examinations.
Speaking at the maiden convocation ceremony of Miva Open University in Lagos, Alausa attributed the achievement to ongoing reforms in the education sector, including the adoption of Computer-Based Testing (CBT) and a hybrid examination system.
According to the minister, the reforms have also significantly reduced examination malpractice and are aimed at restoring the credibility, integrity, and public confidence in Nigeria's examination process.
He reaffirmed the Federal Government's commitment to strengthening assessment systems and improving the quality of education through technology-driven reforms and enhanced examination security.

ICPC, NABTEB Strengthen Partnership to Combat Examination Malpractice and Academic Fraud
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) have reaffirmed their commitment to tackling examination malpractice and academic fraud across Nigeria.
The renewed collaboration was announced during a courtesy visit by the ICPC Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner for Edo State, Adenekan Shogunle, to the NABTEB Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mohammed Aminu, in Benin City.
Shogunle described examination malpractice as a major threat to professional competence and public trust, highlighting ICPC's efforts in investigation, public enlightenment, and corruption prevention.
In response, Aminu reaffirmed NABTEB's commitment to conducting credible examinations through technology-driven monitoring and intelligence-led strategies. He also requested ICPC's support in providing discreet surveillance of examination centres nationwide and called for anti-corruption sensitisation programmes for NABTEB staff.
Both organisations pledged to sustain their collaboration to promote integrity, accountability, and excellence in Nigeria's technical and vocational education system.

KWARA STATE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, ILORIN RELEASES 2026/2027 NCE POST-UTME ADMISSION SCREENING FORM
Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin has commenced the 2026/2027 NCE Post-UTME admission screening exercise for qualified candidates seeking admission into its National Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes.
Eligible candidates are required to complete the online application by providing their personal details, uploading a passport photograph, paying the screening fee, updating their profile, entering their O'Level results, selecting their preferred course, uploading required documents, and printing their application slip.

AMBROSE ALLI UNIVERSITY (AAU), EKPOMA RELEASES 2026/2027 POST-UTME & DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM
Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma has officially commenced the sale of its 2026/2027 Undergraduate Admission Form for UTME and Direct Entry candidates.
The online application portal will be open from Monday, June 29 to Friday, July 31, 2026, for candidates who selected AAU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
The university announced that there will be no Post-UTME screening examination. Admission will be based strictly on candidates' JAMB scores and the approved departmental cut-off marks.
Applicants are advised to complete the online application within the registration period and ensure that all names are written in full, as initials will not be accepted.

The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife, has commenced admission into its College of Nursing Sciences for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Applications are invited from qualified candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma/Higher National Diploma (ND/HND) Nursing programme and the Post Basic Perioperative Nursing programme.
For the ND/HND Nursing programme, candidates must possess five OβLevel credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in not more than two sittings. UNILORIN Releases Updated Dress Code: Indecent Dressing, Hugging, Kissing and Other Offences Attract Strict Penalties
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has reaffirmed its dress code and student conduct policy, outlining penalties for indecent dressing and inappropriate behaviour on campus.
According to the guidelines, offences such as wearing revealing or transparent clothing, skimpy dresses, sagging trousers, ripped jeans, body piercings (except approved female ear piercings), male earrings, unkempt hairstyles, and clothing with obscene inscriptions may attract warnings, communal punishment, or rustication depending on the severity and frequency of the offence.
The university also prohibits public displays of affection, including prolonged hugging, kissing, massaging, and sitting on the lap of the opposite s*x. These offences may attract penalties of up to two semesters of rustication.
UNILORIN urged all students to familiarize themselves with the regulations and comply with the institution's code of conduct, stressing that ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as an excuse.

FULAFIA Releases 2026/2027 Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening Form; 170 Cut-Off Mark, Registration Begins July 6
The Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA), Nasarawa State, has officially commenced its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programmes.
Registration will run from July 6 to August 30, 2026. Candidates who chose FULAFIA as their first-choice institution and scored 170 and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply. However, higher cut-off marks apply to some programmes: Anatomy and Physiology (200), Nursing and Radiography (210), Medical Laboratory Science and Pharmacy (220), and MBBS (230).
Applicants must possess at least five O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings. Direct Entry candidates must have a minimum of Merit or Lower Credit in their previous qualifications.
All applicants, including FULAFIA Remedial and IJMB students, are required to participate in the screening exercise. Candidates should also verify their O'Level results on the university portal during registration.
