Pairing a less responsive learner with a more communicative peer facilitates observational learning, social engagement, and language development. The arrangement promotes turn-taking, peer modeling, joint attention, and reciprocal communication, providing natural opportunities for the learner to practice responding, waiting, and participating in structured social interactions.
