GGDJSS Pakata was established on 26th October, 2006 and the pioneer principal was Hajia Sulyman Jemilat Funmilayo, who began with only 8 classrooms. Later, it increased gradually when Hajia Issa Memunat Moyosore emerged as the principal. The general staff room and other offices were built while the classes increased to 18. The students population also increased yearly.
