These pictures tell the story better than I ever could.

Last Saturday was one of those days that fills you from the inside out.

I was at the Akada Children's Book Festival 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, and what a spectacular, wonderfully curated event it was. The children, the colours, the energy in that space; everything about it was alive.

I facilitated a workshop on 𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻, where we talked about the kind of things that shape a child beyond the classroom: kindness and respect in everyday interactions, good manners at home, at school and in public, and the confidence that comes with knowing how to carry oneself with grace.

If you do not already know, the book on the last slide is mine. 😊 I introduced 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀 to a fresh, eager audience and the reception was heartwarming. It is a book that teaches children etiquette and social grace in the most enjoyable way.
