5 THINGS TO TEACH A CHILD BEFORE AGE 10

Before a child learns algebra or reads Shakespeare, there are 5 things they need to know in their heart:

1. Gratitude — Teach them to say thank you, not just as manners, but as a lifestyle. A grateful child becomes a joyful adult.

2. Resilience — Let them fail sometimes. Let them get back up. The muscle of resilience is built in the small moments, not the big ones.

3. Honesty — A child who learns to tell the truth even when it's hard will grow into a leader others can trust.

4. Curiosity — Never kill a child's "why." That question is the beginning of every great invention, discovery, and breakthrough.

5. Faith — Teach them that they are seen, known, and loved by Someone greater than any challenge they will ever face.

Grades matter, But the character lasts a lifetime.
